The final segment of the Bob Crawford show faded to black on February 11, 2003 at 1950 EST. Bob had been in a coma for several days. He passed with his loving wife Pat at his side and other family members there. We have lost a good friend and broadcaster. Bob began his career in broadcasting in 1958. He worked White House Communications during Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson. Riker Industries, CBS Labs, Telemation and from 1975 to 1998 WRC-TV in Washington DC. After "retirement" from WRC, Bob worked at RJC Designs Inc. as a Design Engineer. While at RJC, Bob worked on the XM Satellite Radio broadcast plant build-to documentation project and, in addition to many other accomplishments, held the dignity of Admiral in the Order of the Iron Test Patter.
